Apartment Complex Rules

APARTMENT COMPLEX RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
Any tenant who disrespects the on-site manager through threatening and/or abusive behavior and/or improper language will receive an IMMEDIATE eviction notice.
GUESTS OF TENANTS ARE SUBJECT TO THE SAMES RULES AND CONDITIONS OF THE APARTMENT COMPLEX AND MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND/OR BE BANNED FROM ENTERING THE PREMISES IF THESE RULES ARE BROKEN.
Pertaining to ALL doors interior and exterior; when you open or close the doors do so QUIETLY at all times!
No loud noise including radios, TVs, computers, etc., especially after 9 p.m.
Pertaining to the stairs: Walk up and down QUIETLY! DO NOT RUN, CLOMP OR STOMP ALONG THE STAIRS! This is an old building and sounds echo.
All upstairs tenants will be required to use the outside stairwell when entering and exiting the building.
THERE WILL BE:
NO PARTYING
NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
NO SMOKING
NO PETS
NO OVERNIGHT GUESTS
NO VISITORS ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9 p.m. AND 9 a.m. WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION FROM MANAGER.
GUESTS MAY VISIT BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9 A.M. AND 9 P.M. AND ONLY WHEN TENANT IS AT HOME. 

GUESTS ARE RESTRICTED TO 2 HOURS PER DAY.
Tenant(s) may NOT use the hallways or outside stairwell to air dry their clothes.
Tenant(s) may NOT store personal items in the hallways or around the building. Landlord/Manager is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
There shall be: NO SMOKING WHATSOEVER IN OR AROUND THE BUILDING, OR NEAR OR AROUND THE BOOK STORE, NOR ON ANY OF THE BOOK STORE'S STEPS, INCLUDING THE FRONT STOOP. FIRST OFFENCE FOR DOING SO WILL BE A WARNING; NEXT OFFENCE WILL BE AN EVICTION.
There shall be NO DRUNKENNESS.
Washer & dryer hours are 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. Last dryer load should be in by 7:00 p.m. Wash small loads only; this is NOT a commercial washer and will not wring out large loads.
WASHER AND DRYER IS FOR TENANT USE ONLY. FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS MAY NOT USE THESE MACHINES.
Rentals may NOT be used as a place of business, including but not limited to:
Woodworking
Chiseling
Bike repair
Ski repair
Welding
Sculpting
Pottery making, etc.


(PERTAINING TO THE PRIVATE ROOM RENTALS):
MICROWAVE COOKING ONLY. 

No other cooking appliances allowed, including but not limited to: Cooktop stoves, Bunsen burners, Camping stoves, Indoor grills, Air friers, Toasters, Toaster ovens, Convection ovens, Crock Posts, Insta-Pots, Blenders, Food Dehydrators, Ice Cream machines, etc. An electric or manual can opener is allowed, as is a auto shut-off coffee maker and/or auto shut-off water pot.

(Private Room Rentals) Grooming sink is not to be used to wash dishes or clothing in.

(Private Room Rentals) Grooming sink is NOT to be used as toilet.
COMMUNITY BATHROOM SINK/SHOWER IS NOT TO BE USED TO WASH DISHES/CLOTHES IN.
COMMUNITY BATHROOM IS FOR THE PRIVATE ROOM RENTAL TENANTS USE ONLY.
PRIVATE ROOM RENTAL GUESTS MAY USE TOILET WHILE VISITING BUT MAY NOT USE THE SHOWER OR WASHER & DRYER WHEN VISITING.
Bikes can only be stored in your room or apartment and may no longer be tethered to the outside stairwell.
Personal items, including bikes skis, snowboards, exercise equipment, extra bikes, bike frames, etc. are to be kept in your room or apartment and may NOT be stored either temporarily or permanently in the entryways or hallways, or any other place inside or outside the building, except for in your own room or apartment. The owner/management is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
There is limited parking out front and while the Management has no jurisdiction regarding on-street parking, it is requested that each tenant park only one vehicle. Parking is limited to 2hrs per day Mon-Fri, and parking tickets may be issued by the city if cars are left more than the allotted time. Tenants may go to the police department with proof of address and request one free parking permit (one per rental unit regardless of how many people occupy one unit), allowing free parking up to 72 hrs, providing the tenant moves his/her vehicle to a different spot after the allotted time.
